The 2012 NCAA Brackets and Pool Manager files are now available on the brackets page. This year pool managers have the option to include scoring for the "First Four" matchups.
This is the most awesome NCAA Pool Manager & Bracket system I have ever come across. I see you have been doing this in the past, but first time for me.
I just wanted to thank you for sharing and hope to see one again next year.
Thanks Kim! As you may have gathered from the comments, this year's system was actually worse than past years (missing some features), but I hope to have it better than ever in 2013.
I'm having a real tough time bringing in the pools into the bracket manager. It is taking 5+ hours (pool size of 225) and when complete not all of the pools were imported successfully. Any suggestions?
Thanks again - I used your spreadsheet last year to rave reviews. I appreciate it.
Hmm... I admit, I haven't tested it with that big a pool. Occasional sloppy coding that isn't noticed in small doses can get exposed when asked to handle a large project like that. Anyone else use the system for large (50+) pools? How has it worked?
When you said "not all of the pools were imported successfully" - can you explain that? What about them wasn't successful? In that case, it's very likely that certain individual brackets are the problem as opposed to the pool manager file.
Thanks for the update - i really appreciate it. I used your pool last year for 378 entries - it was great. After some time I think i figured out one of the issues as one entry had an incorrect format for the tiebreaker...so at that point the remainder of the pools stopped loading. It still runs about 3 minutes for each pool to import (likely given the size of the project) but we'll see how we end up. Thanks again - this is my 15th year running a pool and the last two years have been made much easier by your excel model.
