The purpose of this blog is to offer some insights about the sport business world, share and discuss other topics of interest, and make public any fun/ interesting/ useful files I create (which are typically in Microsoft Excel or Access).
My name is David Tyler, and I am an Assistant Professor in the Sport Management program in the Western Carolina University College of Business. I did my graduate work in business and sport management at the University of Massachusetts, and I have an undergraduate arts and letters degree from Notre Dame. Along the way I’ve worked in business and/or sports at Accenture, Notre Dame, MassMutual, UMass, and independent consulting ventures.
